PHIL ROGERS

Musician / Arranger / Producer / Studio Owner

Phil left us to begin his eternal journey with the Lord on January 16, 2021.  He is missed greatly, but we take comfort knowing that he believed in his Savior and looked forward to his "next life" with God.

As the President of AirDigital Recording Inc., Phil was a Songwriter/Performer/Producer and head studio writer, pianist and keyboardist at Air Digital Recording Studios.  His amazing journey as a musician began at the age of 7 and by age 12 he was performing in Carneigie Hall in New York with the Mid America Accordian Orchestra conducted by Joan Sommers.  By age 13, he was student teaching at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, and at the age of 15 he won his first Olympic championship, representing the Guiletti Accordian Corporation.  After high school, he attended the UMKC Conservatory of music and ultimately received a B.M.A. degree in music theory.  His expertise in classical, jazz and all other styles and genres of music developed over years of practice and performance.  Along with his own music pursuits and running a world-class recording studio, Phil developed a unique way of teaching others the language of music through his Five Laws of Music(TM) books and individual lessons.  He offered this effective teaching technique to people of all ages (with students starting as early as age 4) through the Rogers Foundation of Music, both locally at the studio and internationally via online courses.  As a man of deep belief, Phil brought a sense of purpose and universal connection when working with others through teaching, co-writing, arranging, and producing music.
